Email From Barkley's New Owner- Temple's First Litter- He Moved To Oklahoma City
Abby,
I have been meaning to send you a message since we returned, but we've had a lot of company wanting to see our new "addition."
First I need to tell you that children, grandchildren, Dave and Ruth voted on the name when we got home. "TJ - Maxie" is now Barkley.
Second I need to tell you that we all just adore him. He is such a good puppy. He slept all the way home. (He did cry for about 5 minutes as
we left your place. I put my fingers through the crate so that he could lick them, and then I sang him a lullaby. It must have worked very well.
We kept thinking that we should let him out to go to the bathroom (we needed to), but he continued to sleep. We arrived home and have had
many visitors of friends and family. Barkley has charmed all of them -- most of all - us!!!! He has new toys, pillows to sleep on, etc.
We are keeping him on the "tile area" of our home, but we have had no accidents. WOW!! Today we took him to Pet Smart for a bath. Tuesday
he gets to visit the vet for the first time.

He’s having a good time getting acquainted with everyone and spoiled of course. He has already become king of the house and knows his way around. I will send pics in a few weeks to show you how he’s growing. Keep in touch hope you find a good home for the last one.
